About the Role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines – ingest and process high-frequency blockchain data.
• Develop real-time analytics – extract key insights from on-chain Ethereum and MEV activity.
• Support quantitative research – collaborate with traders, engineers, and researchers to identify profitable strategies.
• Optimise database performance – ensure efficient querying of high-volume blockchain datasets.
• Develop custom blockchain data models – extract actionable intelligence from Ethereum mempools, validators, and transaction flows.
• Work with machine learning & statistical models – help build predictive analytics for MEV and blockchain dynamics.
• Stay ahead of blockchain data trends – keep up with Ethereum upgrades, MEV research, and DeFi innovations.

Who Are We Looking For?

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, quantitative research, or blockchain analytics.
• Strong programming skills – Python, Rust, or Golang preferred.
• Experience with distributed computing & big data tools – Spark, Dask, or similar.
• Deep understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases – working with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain data – Ethereum mempools, smart contract interactions, on-chain analytics.
• Familiarity with MEV, DeFi, and algorithmic trading – experience working with financial models is a plus.
• Analytical mindset – ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
• Proactive problem solver – comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
